The ddrum Defiant drum set series is an intermediate offering by ddrum that features pre-configured kits with either a 6 piece double bass drum setup or a 7 piece set. The Defiant drum set uses basswood shells with 6-ply toms and 8-ply snare and bass drums. This drum set includes higher quality hardware than the entry level kits and is marketed as a good setup for “heavy hitters.”
