The Mapex Meridian Maple Drum series is an intermediate/semi-professional drum kit currently being manufactured by Mapex. The Meridian Maple was first introduced in early 2009 to replace the previous Pro-M series. These drum sets include 7-ply, all maple shells, 2.3mm Steel Powerhoops, and Remo UT Pinstripe batter heads. Meridian Maple drum sets are also equipped with Mapex 700 series hardware and the newly engineered Isolated Tom Mount System (ITS). The Meridian Maple series is one of Mapex’s most popular types of drum sets.
