The Mapex Pro M Series was one of Mapex intermediate level drum sets. The Pro M was replaced in the lineup in 2009 with the Mapex Meridian Maple drum series. The Pro M features 7-ply all maple drum shells with a thickness of 5.8mm. The Pro M includes the I.T.S tom mounting system which allows the bass drum to vibrate freely and not interfere with the mounted toms and Mapex Powerhoops made from 2.3mm chrome steel.
