The Mapex Saturn series is a semi-professional drum set manufacutred by Mapex. Although this is not considered a professional drum series, many professional musicians use a Mapex Saturn drum set while touring and prefer the Saturn over the more expensive Mapex Orion Series. The drums are constructed with 6 plys of Maple and Walnut with a shell thickness of 5.1mm. The hardware is heavy duty and includes the I.T.S. tom mounting system and non-penetrating bass drum spurs. The Saturn series comes in a variety of different finishes and with the option of black or chrome hardware.
