Pearl Vision Series drum sets are Pearl’s current intermediate offering. The Vision Series was created in 2007 to replace the Export and Session series of drums. The drum kits are offered with two different finish options: the VSX Covered finish drums, and the VLX Lacquer finish drums. Later, in 2008, Pearl developed the VMX which has maple shells and the VBX with all birch shells. The Pearl Vision Series follows up two of Pearls best selling offerings, and already is one of the most popular drum kits sold today.
